It applies to this website only. Where a separate agreement or quotation governs our relationship with you, that document also applies.

2. Information we collect

  • your name;

Please do not send us sensitive information (for example health data) through these forms. It is not needed to answer a product enquiry.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our server records basic technical information when a page is requested, including the IP address the request came from, the browser and operating system in use, the page requested and the time of the request. We use this to keep the site available, to diagnose faults and to block abusive or automated traffic. It is not used to build a profile of you.

Information we do not collect

This website has no user accounts, no online payment and no comment facility, so we do not collect passwords, payment card details or public profile information here.

Optional marketing Only with your consent, given through the cookie notice. You can withdraw it at any time.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell it.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Some are required for the website to work at all; others are optional and are set only if you agree. When you first visit, a notice at the bottom of the page lets you Accept the cookies or decline them, and links to this policy if you want to read more first. Nothing optional is loaded before you decide.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cannot be switched off. They keep the site working and remember the choice you made in the cookie notice.

accept Stores your answer to the cookie notice, so we do not ask on every page. Lasts 6 months when you accept and 1 month when you decline. Set only after you make a choice.
wordpress_test_cookie Checks whether your browser accepts cookies. Session only.
wp-settings-*, wp-settings-time-* Set only if a member of our staff signs in to the administration area. Not set for ordinary visitors. Lasts up to 1 year.

Optional cookies

This website does not currently set any statistics or marketing cookies. If we introduce them — for example to measure which product pages are read most, or to measure the reach of an advertising campaign — they will be loaded only after you have accepted cookies, and this policy will be updated first. Our answer for these optional cookies is also passed to Google Consent Mode, so any Google measurement or advertising tool we may use in future stays switched off until you accept.

Managing cookies

  • At any time, reopen the notice from Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page and change your answer.
  • You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones may stop parts of the site from working.
  • We honour browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control for optional cookies.

5. Who we share your information with

We keep your enquiry within our own systems and share it only with:

  • Service providers who host the website, operate our email or maintain our IT systems, acting on our instructions and bound to keep the information confidential;
  • Our own sales, technical and after-sales teams, and, where a distributor in your region is better placed to help, that distributor — we tell you when we pass an enquiry on;
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to do so.

We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes without your consent.

6. Where your information is processed

We are based in China, and our website is hosted on servers that may be located outside your country. When information is transferred internationally, we take steps to make sure it stays protected, for example by using providers that offer appropriate contractual safeguards.

7. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries, quotations and demo requests: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so that we can pick the conversation up again, unless a contract or a legal obligation requires a longer period.
  • Server logs: a short period, normally no more than 90 days, unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.
  • Cookie choice: 6 months after you accept and 1 month after you decline, or until you clear your browser cookies.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • to be told what personal information we hold about you and to receive a copy;
  • to have inaccurate information corrected;
  • to have your information erased when we no longer need it;
  • to restrict how we use it, or to object to a particular use;
  • to receive your information in a portable format, or have it sent to another organisation;
  • to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it;
  • if you are in California, to know, delete and correct the personal information we hold, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights;
  • to complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us as described in section 1. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, and we will normally respond within 30 days.

9. Children

This website is aimed at laboratories, universities, clinics and companies. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections to this website and restricted access to enquiry records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add a new service or a new cookie. The date below always shows the current version, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
